Every year we have to remember our Pitrus or Ancestors or Relatives who passed away or died or gone to Goloc or Aakshar Dham. This is a one type of celebration like of birth day, U may call it death day celebration. It starts in Bhadrapad from Sud Purnima to Vad Amavashia. It is very very auspicious for the family members who are still on earth or living. The celebrations and offers and punja on these days reaches to the dead relatives or family members or ancestors. The date on which they expired is also required to be celibrated or a shradhanjalee to be offered, but during these 15 days also on the day of death during the year on the same day in this period a Punja Archana, Lunch to relatives, family members, and to the brahmins, is offered which reaches immediately to the dead personality. The live people gets blessings from them and they live happly with all facilities and aminities, proserity power property, personality, family. Due to this Punja or Celebration the soul of dead relatives get liberation or new birth or freedom from cycle of birth. People are also performing this punja or celebration at river or sea or temple places. On 9th or on nom, a common celebration can be carried out for all the Old aged women in the family, and on the 13th terash the process can be carried out for all the children of the family. On the 1st day of Aasho Mash, the same process can be carried out for the unknown death in the family. Apart from simple punja a Pind Dan is also given on this day. It is some short of Bhoga to Pitru in the shape of egg made up from Flore of wheat & Ulad bounded by water. The panditjee or Brahman will give the guide line with full proof process. This Pind Dan will free the soul from the birth cycle.

This is the time where I have to respect, honor, admire, please, shraadh, remember, memorize, and act with Namashkarum or accord dandvat pranam to my family members who have left us, passed away, gone to Golok, Akshar Dham, Brindavan. The shraadh paxsha start from Bhadra Sud purnima and ends on Bhadra Vad Amaash. During this period we have to remember our family members who resided at Golok or Akshar Dham or Brindavan, or passed away from us , where the Purshotam is birajman or residing with their devotees.
