After the Navratri festival is getting over, immediately the tenth day is the dashera.
People put up nine days heavy energy loss and generation and 10th day start celebration with sweet, fireworks, new clothing, beautification, decoration, new shopping, home external and internal decoration, celebration of vehicle and machinery, as well as poonja of weapons with military of the country and people who are keeping weapons too.
Many schools are having holiday to celibate the Dashera.
It is winning of Good over Bad on this day.
People enjoy the dashera, eat jalebi sweet and fafda namkeen on this day and feels having happy rest of the days of the year.
It is also a Shri Ramchndra Vijayotshava on Ravana during war at Shri Lanka. Due to this in Cities and Villages people are celebrating Ravana Dahan means a firework statue of Ravana is prepared and in the evening time the Ram use to burn the Ravana statue by suiting arrow through bow.
On the same such a good day Shri Saibaba passed away in Shirdi, and his body was given samadhi in the exsting samadhi mandir.
On this auspicious day Goddess Chamund killed the Mahisashur at Mysuru hill Karnataka area.
